This course is designed for instructors who are somewhat familiar with structured literacy, as more advanced principles will be addressed.  Topics will include morphology/vocabulary development, fluency development, comprehension strategies, and advanced O-G concepts/skills.  The course will focus on working with middle and high school students, so material selection, techniques, etc. will be important components of the class.

Participants can earn one (1) graduate credit from NDMU (for an additional fee) if the course is successfully completed.

Instructor: Andrea Seurkamp, Language Skills and Decoding Department Chair
